SUMMARY:Naturalist at the Brownsville Overlook
DESCRIPTION:Join a Refuge Naturalist on Saturday\, November 22\, 2025\, anytime between 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. to learn about the refuge and identify birds stopping over during the fall migration. The Brownsville Overlook is located about three miles south of Brownsville\, Minnesota along Minnesota Highway 26. Temperatures have been milder this fall\, but we recommend wearing lots of layers! \nFor more information\, please call the La Crosse District Visitor Center at 608-779-2399. The Visitor Center is open for winter hours Tuesdays – Fridays\, 9am – 3pm\, closed on federal holidays and at noon on Wed. November 26. Please check back for updated hours around the December/January holidays.
