Where did they go? What was life like being a prisoner? Come find out! Light refreshments provided. \nThis program is part of a collaborative grant series with La Crescent Public Library\, American Legion Post 595\, VFW Post 11542\, the La Crescent Area Historical Society\, and City of La Crescent. It is funded by SELCO regional library system and the Legacy Amendment\, Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund. \nJeremy Darst is a native of southeastern Minnesota and grew up exploring the driftless area. He currently works as a naturalist at Whitewater State Park and enjoys delving into the park’s rich history. His interest in the former German prisoners was first sparked during a class trip he took to Whitewater State Park over 30 years ago.

DESCRIPTION:Fun Night is ABLE’s largest fundraising event of the year with proceeds supporting our organization’s vision of an inclusive community where everyone belongs. Money raised is used for a variety of things to support the people at ABLE including outings\, supplies\, adaptive equipment and to pay for other necessities to help our people supported live full and vibrant lives. \nTickets are $25 per person and include entry into a drawing for one of two $250 cash prizes\, dinner\, keg beer and non-alcoholic beverages.\nTable sponsorships are $500 for a table of 8 and includes table signage at the event\, a pre-event Facebook post and recognition in any post event communications. Each table will also receive a special special door prize. \nTickets and table sponsorships can be purchase online or at our La Crescent or Caledonia offices.
