Join us at the La Crescent-Hokah Elementary School Mezzanine for an interactive presentation with author Mary De Merle Schams! How A Book Is Made is all about where ideas come from. We’ll chat about the creative writing process, make mistakes, and embrace the messiness of the process. The interactive elements of this presentation include brainstorming and storyboarding exercises designed to motivate young writers to use their personal experiences and interests to help craft their own unique story.
