When it comes to reproductive health, knowledge is power. Misinformation about reproductive health abounds, hindering informed decision-making and compromising health outcomes. This talk will discuss the drivers and characteristics of reproductive health misinformation, exploring why these myths are so compelling and what dynamics allow them to propagate. Attendees will learn to identify and counter reproductive health misinformation in order to promote positive reproductive health outcomes.

Jennifer John is a Research Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania, where she studies misinformation about reproductive health. She is a recent Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Stanford University, where she majored in Human Biology with a concentration in Women’s Health.
