Give the “Apple of Your Eye” residing at SpringBrook Village, Traditions, or La Crescent Health Services a sweet start to Applefest. Treat them to the Senior Apple Luncheon on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at the La Crescent Area Event Center and save $2 on their ticket!
Sis and Sweetwater will entertain us and you can sing along to their familiar tunes. If you are a dancer-there will be room for that too! You can step back in time with an Applefest Display made possible by the La Crescent Area Historical Society. Watch a video of our first Apple Fest (when it was still two words) and view original props and memorabilia from that first event in 1949.
Swing Bridge will cook up a delicious meal of mashed potatoes, meatballs, green beans, and a dinner roll, followed by a festive apple pie square for dessert from Linda’s Bakery compliments of Eitzen State Bank of La Crescent. You can also expect an orchard of door prizes from Thrivent Financial, Corky’s Pizza, Eitzen State Bank and La Crescent Area Historical Society.
Tickets can be purchased at Eitzen State Bank (ESB) La Crescent and SpringBrook Village of La Crescent. Let them know who the “Apple of Your Eye” is if purchasing a ticket for two for $18.
